Chapter One-Hundred is the series finale and 100th episode of Jane the Virgin, and the 19th and final episode of Season 5.
Synopsis[]
SERIES FINALE — With Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) finally getting ready for their big day, Rafael’s desire to help Jane’s writing dream lands him in trouble. Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) must tell the family about their decision and not everyone takes it well. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) struggles with her emotions.

- One of the authors is Isabel Allende, who is known to be Jane's idol.
- Jane creates a new ending for her book, and thanks to Rafael, she is able to get in time for Isabel Allende to read.

- Magda now lives in Siberia.
- Rogelio finally achieves fame in America.
- Xiomara is hesitant about moving to New York.
- In the end, she decides to move to New York with Rogelio.
- Luisa gives Jane information about Rafael's biological parents.
- They both passed away and were regular people.
- Esteban proposes to Darci and they get engaged!
- Mateo is revealed to be the narrator.
- Justin Baldoni's real-life wife Emily makes a cameo as one of the runners in the marathon.
PARALLELS
- When Rafael tries to get Jane's new book ending to Isabel Allende, he gets arrested. However, Jane bails him out. This comical chain of events causes the bride, the groom and the family to be late for the wedding, similar to Jane's wedding to Michael.
