Chapter Fifty is the 6th episode of Season 3 of Jane the Virgin.
Synopsis[]
A SURPRISING TURN — When Jane's (Gina Rodriguez) cousin unexpectedly shows up at her door, Jane questions her own less than spontaneous life. Xo (Andrea Navedo) finds the perfect location for her dance studio, but it happens to be near her ex-boyfriend, Bruce (guest star Ricardo Chavira). Rogelio (Jaime Camil) realizes his feelings for Xo but struggles with telling her. Petra (Yael Grobglas) is served with a lawsuit and she decides to ask Rafael (Justin Baldoni) for help. Meanwhile, Michael (Brett Dier) is ready to get to work just as they get a break in the Mutter case.

- When Petra say “we are never ever getting back together” was a direct reference to Taylor swift's song. Alba and Jane mend fences; Alba tells Jane she doesn't trust Catalina.
- Rafael and Catalina meet and start a fling.
- Rogelio seems to almost decide that he'll choose Xo over having more children because he loves her so much, but when he sees her kissing Bruce, he changes his mind and decides to start actively searching for a donor.
- Michael and Jane move into their new house.
- Jane tries to talk to Michael about travelling, but he sort of rejects the idea. Jane responds with 'you're right. It's not practical'.
- This harkens back to her first meeting with Rafael, who was the first person Jane talked about her writing dreams to and when she said 'Am I being practical or brave?', Rafael responded 'Be brave' before he kissed her.
