I think it's probable he'll be billed as a Special Guest Star.
I'm not sure he's in every episode and whether he'll join the main cast again depends on whether Dier's new series is picked up. I doubt that it will be clear before they begin production this summer, so best bet is SGS.
Hello, I was wondering if you could make me a content moderator of the Jane the Virgin Wiki. Iam a huge fan of Jane the Virgin and have watched the whole series so far, that Iam eagerly waiting for season 5 to come. I believe I could really contribute to the wiki by adding content and supporting the community. I believe i can make a difference to this wiki
I have noticed a big need for a navigation template for actors and actresses so I will be working on creating that today. If you and User:Pj Lol decide that you do not want to use such a template for whatever reason then I understand and accept that decision. Please let me know.
Btw I added the inactive usertag feature, so when a user hasn't been active on here for 90 days, the usertag appears. For example on Hannamarin7 's profile. This will stop users from leaving a message there and redirect them to someone more active. When a user edits, the tag is automatically removed and will only appear again after they've been off for 90 days.
I wanted to discuss the page titles for Petra and Rose's respective pages. Why are they not "Petra Solano" and "Rose Solano"? Even if Petra isn't married to Rafael anymore she's still a Solano. The show still considers her one. And I don't understand why we'd call Rose's page "Sin Rostro". That's just a title, and she's still known as "Rose Solano" by fans. It would just make more sense that way.
In Petra's case, lots of people keep their married name after they get divorced. I think the general audience still recognizes her as "Petra Solano", and the show itself has confirmed she is still "Petra Solano". Part of the reason for keeping it also, I imagine, is due to the fact that "Petra Andel" was a stolen identity. Also the fact that "Solano" is a name heavily affiliated with the hotel industry due to Emilio and Rafael, so it'd look good for her to have the name due to business purposes. These are the in-show justifications, but out of show Petra is still primarily known as "Petra Solano", and I think if we have a surname for a character then it should be used.
In Rose's situation, one reason I think we should do "Rose Solano" is because of the fact that it's her most popular name. Luisa, Rafael, etc. all call her "Rose" and not really "Sin Rostro" unless they're addressing her more formally. "Sin Rostro" is also a bit of a spoiler for those new to the show who happen to look at the wiki. It's a pretty big twist, and while we don't need to prioritize keeping spoilers from new fans, I think having "Sin Rostro" as a page title is a bit much. And it's also more of a title than an actual name. I don't know if any of you watch Once Upon a Time, but that's like calling Rumplestiltskin's page "The Dark One" or Zelena's page "Wicked Witch of the West". You would call them "Rumplestiltskin" and "Zelena" because that's their name.
Sorry about my even later response, (I was never notified). I think that the Sin Rostro article name is best staying the same but Solano could be added to Petra's name, after it is her current last name. Anotehr option could be naming them by their original names, Natalia and Clara Ruvelle and then leaving redirects behind to other aliases.
I personally don't think using Natalia and Clara Ruvelle is a good idea since those aren't their names anymore, and they've been said too little in the series. I imagine a lot of people don't even remember them. Adding "Solano" to Petra and keeping Rose as "Sin Rostro" would work for me.
I have been watching a dubbed version of Juana la Virgen and I have also been adding a few pages about it on the wiki. As I begin to expand articles on Juana la Virgen, would you be interested in reformatting the tab bar to include one tab for Juana la Virgen?
